What our SOC reports cover

SOC 1 Type II, SOC 2 Type II and the AWS platform they sit on.

Our controls are covered by SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II reports. Each report comes from an independent auditor who tested our controls over a period of time, not on a single day.

SOC 1 covers the controls that bear on our clients' financial reporting. SOC 2 covers security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy.

The platform runs on AWS for security, continuity and scalability.

Access to every valuation is permissioned, and the platform runs on AWS under the controls our SOC 2 report covers.

Every value we deliver can be traced, tested and audited. Every input is traceable and every output is testable.

Lineage, versioning and audit trails are built into the pipeline, and we take your auditors through the method by video and supply the records they need.

Every day we collect holdings reports, cash flows, filings, rates, prices and news from thousands of sources. Most of it arrives unstructured. Our pipeline cleans and validates it, then values every holding from it, every business day.

Private markets don't send tidy data. Our extraction layer ingests all sources and normalizes your data.

Each holding is valued against its own proxy, aggregated to fund and portfolio NAV, then checked by the validation engine.

New GP NAVs are fed into our system each day, and we fold each into the book without rewriting daily values already published. A value that breaks from its own daily history stands out, and we trace it to its source.

Keep the inputs and adjustments traceable, and test estimates against subsequent GP marks. That gives valuation committees and compliance teams a record to inspect when reviewing the process and its disclosures.

Lineage and audit trails are part of the pipeline itself. Our models are accurate, objective, deterministic, and consistent down to the holdings level.

Each quarter we compare our estimates with the NAVs your GPs report and send you the analysis. At the portfolio level our estimates stay within 50 bps of subsequently reported GP NAVs, and they stayed within 1% of them through the 2020 pandemic.

UC Investments runs a $225 billion portfolio, a quarter of it in private assets that GPs reported 45 days late. Before trusting FEV's daily marks, UC validated them against GP-reported NAVs itself.

Breakthrough technology. Disruptive pricing.

The fastest way to judge a valuation method is to watch it run on a real portfolio. We'll price one of yours.
